1953 - 2016 Obituary Condolences
MIGELL, Brian P. Born June 24, 1953, in Boston, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Nonantum, on July 4, 2016. Brian moved from Belmont at a young age and was a life-long resident of Newton, graduating from Newton North High School in 1972, where he excelled in variety of sports including lacrosse, ice hockey, track and football. He received an all-state athlete award and a football scholarship to Boston State College. He was very popular among classmates and kept lifetime friendships. Always a jovial personality, he kept us laughing with his jokes and impressions even as he struggled with his own illness. He was an exceptional character full of kindness, intelligence, integrity, strength and love. He enjoyed outdoor activities and took many hiking and mountain climbing treks in his younger years. He looked forward to summers in New England, barbeques and days swimming at Nantasket Beach with family and friends. Brian will be sorely missed by Lucy Migell, his wife and best friend of 33 years, his brothers Andrew Migell, Keith Migell, mother Alice Migell, niece Regina Migell and many cousins and friends. Funeral Service in the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chesnut Hill Ave., (near Brighton Courthouse), BRIGHTON Wednesday, July 13th at 12 pm. Relatives are kindly invited to attend.
