LENIHAN, Brian Thomas 58, of Newburyport, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Brian worked in the refractory business for the last 30 years, the last 15 years he served as Vice President of Cutter Atlantic Refractories. He served for 4 years in the United States Navy as a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. He spent his free time on the Merrimac River as an avid boat enthusiast. In the winter months he enjoyed tinkering around the house and vacationing in Disney World and Key West. Brian was the son of Mary (Cannon) Lenihan and James Lenihan. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Maureen (McCarron) Lenihan. He was the proud father of James R. and his wife Michelle, of Andover, MA, Brian J. and his wife Allison of Haverhill, MA and Caitlin (Lenihan) Rush and her husband Joseph of Philadelphia, PA. He was loving and proud grandfather of Catherine and Kiera of Andover, MA and Emily of Haverhill, MA. He is also survived by his brother James L. Lenihan and his wife Lynne of Canterbury, NH, his sister Maryellen Lenihan of Watertown, MA and numerous cousins and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 27th at 9 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Green Street, Newburyport. Interment will be private. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 in the Twomey-LeBlanc and Conte Funeral Home, 193 High Street, NEWBURYPORT, MA 01950.
