COOK, C. Ross Jr. Passed away on November 2nd. A resident of Winchester, Ross was born in Albany, New York, son of Charles R. Cook and Ruby Gardner Cook. Ross attended Albany public schools and The Albany Academy. After graduating from Siena College with a business degree, he continued to study business at New York University. He then moved to Boston to work at the Prudential Company in Accounting, and then moved up into the Real Estate Investment Office. It turns out that real estate was his passion. He set out on his own, and started his own Residential Real Estate Appraisal business specializing in corporate relocations, servicing all of New England and New York.|
Ross had many passions, which ranged from Bluegrass music to Baseball. He also had a great knowledge of the transportation industry, and was an avid collector of vintage truck and train models.
His beloved wife, Rachel Rice Cook, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews survive him. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Eulalia's Parish in Winchester, MA on Monday, November 7, at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Jimmy Fund (jimmyfund.org).
