CABOT, Chilton S. Of Quincy, died February 8, 2011 Age 76, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Spadafora. Father of Chilton L. and his wife Vicky, Christopher S. and his wife Brooke. Brother-in-law of George Spadafora and his wife Diane, uncle of Lisa Thompson and her husband John. Survived by sister Judy Marriner and her husband Ken and sister-in-law Joelle Cabot and many nieces and nephews. Grandfather of Jackson, Camilla, Georgia, Mimi, Tory and Katharine Cabot. Former husband of Lynne O. Cabot. A graduate of Belmont Hill School, and Harvard College, Mr. Cabot, known as Tony, entered the United States Navy and served five years of active duty as an aviator on the U.S.S. Franklin Roosevelt. Following active duty, he joined the Unites States Marine Reserves before attending the Harvard Business School. Years later he retired at the rank of Marine Colonel. Tony is a retired investment counselor from Scudder Stevens and Clark, and J. M. Forbes. He is a former Trustee of Boston Biomedical Research and former President of the Board of Trustees of The Museum of Transportation. Tony was an avid sailor and served as the Commodore for the New England Multihull Association. His other passions include photography and music; Dave Brubeck was one of his favorites. Tony and his camera were fixtures on the sidelines of his children's and grandchildren's athletic events. Memorial service to be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 10AM in Christ Church Cambridge Zero Garden Street, Cambridge, MA.
