Sister Colette Kenney, CSJ|
A beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston for 74 years, died Saturday, August 17, 2013. Daughter of the late Francis E. and Grace (Livingstone) Kenney, and sister of the late Francis Kenney, Dorothy Hennessey, Bernice Fermano, Malcolm Kenney, Alice Anusewicz, and Walter Kenney. Survived by her brother, Laurence (Larry) and his wife, Joan Kenney of Hyde Park. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Catherine, Charlestown; St. John, Canton; St. Columbkille, Brighton; St. Paul, Hingham; St. John, Swampscott; St. Ann, Dorchester; and St. Angela, Mattapan. Sister Colette also ministered in the Finance Department at Fontbonne Hall. Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Wednesday, August 21, 2013, 9:15-10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.
