Darren, I will never forget you, when we were young we had so much fun you use to always make sure i got home safe...that in it's self speaks volumes a great guy a good brother and a son that will be missed and a great friend!!!!!!

It has been a very long time since I have seen Darren. I remember when we were kids hanging out in E.B. Darren was what everyone states - a kind and gentle person. I am so very sorry for the devestating loss of your son and brother.

Darren was on my bowling team and he was the nicest guy. We are so sad that he is no longer with us. RIP . 'til we meet again in a better place. Hope they have a jukebox up there. :)

Dear Carol, and Cheryl
Far too many years have passed,you have lost 3 of the finest men any woman could call husband and son, and you Cheryl brothers. I feel empty inside, knowing you all as a family all our lives, in East Boston, sharing the joys and sorrows as we have, makes this so hard. I can only imagine your triple loss. Now loosing Darren. Gene, and Gino. You have each other and somehow you will get through this, it is something that is not easy to understand. All your wonderful memories will be precious as time passes...... Unlike many people leaving messages here, I don't know the Testa family. I only knew Darren through his work for the East Boston Greenway and his unselfish devotion to building a better community. Long before others started talking about connecting the Bremen Street Park with Constitution Beach, Darren was walking the now-envisioned route with a small group of activists. Darren was a soft-spoken, very classy gentleman. I hope that any family that has lost such fine man will take comfort in the many memories he left all of us with. Thank you for sharing Darren with us.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. My family and I had the pleasure of meeting Darren through Revere football.
Darren was a positive role model and donated much of his personal time so that other's could have fun and enjoy the sport.
He will be deeply missed.
