MANNING, David Alton A resident of Manhattan, New York, formerly of Andover, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at the Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York on Sunday, February 23, 2014. He was 42 years old. David was the beloved son of Paul L. and the late Linda J. Manning and loving step-son of Judith Manning of Andover. David was an amazing person, so handsome, so kind. His inner strength and the positive and compassionate way he approached everything he did, made him special to be around. A natural athlete, he possessed an unyielding focus and commitment towards any goal he set with no compromises, always pushing forward to live his best life on his own terms. David was a true friend and non-judgmental listener, and approached life with an open mind. A true free spirit, David led a very active and full life. He loved music, books, art, animals, nature, sports and travel. Davids infinite positive spirit and strength, gentle soul, warm heart, and graciousness will forever be in our hearts. In addition to his father and Step-mother, Paul and Judith, David is survived by his siblings; Paul and his wife Ruthann Manning of Methuen, Whitney and her husband Paul Keeley of Windham, New Hampshire, Melissa and her husband Anthony Morgante of Andover and Rebecca and her husband Justin Zuill of Bedford, New Hampshire, and beloved nieces and nephews; Madyson, Adeline, Savannah, Owen, Anthony and Linda, as well as many beloved family and friends.
