I was very sorry to hear of the death of Fr. David Boulton. My sympathies to the Jesuit Community and to Sr. Kathleen his friend and co-worker in ministry. It was my privilege to have been in the first weekend CPE class at the Monastery where David was my mentor. Because of this experience my life changed forever. A truly remarkable man has left this earth but his legacy will live on through all the people he touched.

Sincerely,

May 9, 2007

Rest in Peace Father Boulton. You will be missed.

On behalf of my dear, elderly mother,
Margaret M (Igo) Donahue, Father Bouton's cousin, and myself, wish to convey our deepest sympathy on his death.
I had a pleasure to re-unite with Father Bouton, at St Charles Rectory, two years ago, when I was visiting my home town, Waltham.
He was, as usual, very gracious, and compassionate!
God bless you, Father, may you rest in peace!

Father Dave was more than my third cousin. He was a wonderful special close family member who has been a part of my entire life! He was always available to me in times of great need and i will always thank him for listening and caring. He was a man and priest with such a loving and giving spirit. I have so many memories. He will be deeply missed. I know he is in heaven with God enjoying the Red Sox and skunks, and all his christmas stories. To Sister Kathleen, the Jesuits and all his parish family at Campion Center and St. Charles please accept my deepest sympathies to you. Love and prayers

David was a wonderful friend and someone who I admired. He was a bit older than I at a time when I struggled with aspects of life and education. He was there as a friend and a mentor. I will miss him.
