Dear DesRoches Family,

We were away for a few days when Nicole told us about David. Right after we moved down here, Nicole told me she was "going out" with David. I don't even think he was 10 years old at the time. I guess they used to sit around and talk. I got a chuckle out of watching them. He was so cute and a little joker. I can't put into words how heartbroken we are for your whole family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We pray God will bring you and David some peace.

Micky,

I am so sorry about the loss of your son David. I know you were a wonderful and caring father to him. I know that he meant a lot to you and that you helped to give him a shining beacon of light and good. I hope he is in a better place now. I know the memories of the good times you had will stay with you and his grandmother Joyce. I know the two of you helped to sustain him and served as his support.

He was lucky to have a father like you in his life. I am so sorry he is gone.

My prayers are with you and your family
