Dear Ed,
Thoughts of you cross my mind & actually told a little story of you during our time as coworkers just to let others know that great colleagues are a treasure.
May the Lord bless your family.

Dear Ed, you come into to my thoughts, and I have to smile - you were one of my BEST coworkers ever! You were always so kind, had a thoughtful perspective. I smile because I really am thankful our lives crossed paths.

I first met Eddie over a game of chess, at his friend John Thorburn's house. As a classmate and teammate for six years, he was a true scholar. I still remember a rousing speech he gave in Mr. Gordon's history class on the "Molly Maguires". Mostly to me, he was one of the most genuine and kindest souls that I have ever met. His chess was like that too, clear and deep. He became the captain of our chess team, but I am sure that everbody on our Boston Latin school team, held him in so much higher regard than that. He was a wonderful person with such a steady lasting spirit!

My condolences to the Wyckoff family. Ed was a wonderful supervisor to me and was highly thought of by the many students he assisted in the student financial aid office. He was a man of integrity. Anne and Eddie, you provided such loving care to Ed as you daily ministered to his needs during his illness. You carried out your roles as devoted wife and son in such compassionate and loving ways. Ed loved you very much and when he was still able to talk, he kept saying how much he loved you and that he was very thankful to God for you. “ Psalm 139:8 If I ascend into heaven, Thou art there.”
Ed walked in faith knowing his Savior Jesus Christ would be there with open arms at the very point in time he went to heaven. May the Savior's love surround you today.

Anne & Eddie - When I learned of Ed's passing my thoughts were of the many memories we spent working together at UNM. Ed was always calm and patient. I know the days ahead will be difficult for both of you and I pray that your memories of Ed will help you through this time. My deepest condolences.

On behalf of the Massachusetts Chess Association, of which Ed was a member back in the 1970s when he led his Boston Latin School chess team to four straight state championships, I send condolences to the Wyckoff family on his passing. May he rest in peace.

Ed was a major contributor to our state champion chess teams of the seventies. Positive, friendly and hard-working, he was an asset to the school and community.

Dear Anne and Eddie -- It was with profound sadness that I learned of Ed's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. I had the joy of working with Ed at UNM beginning in 1992. He was wonderful to work with, and always demonstrated kindness and empathy towards the thousands of students he served. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kathleen O'Keefe
