I think of Eleanor each day as she left me with so many reminders...paintings which hang in my home...quilted potholders plus she cared for me in so many ways. My granddaughter is making a quilt and realizing that she needs a mentor. Eleanor was my mentor when I made my first and second quilt. I could not have done it without her. I do miss her and think of her often. Love to her and her children. Carole

I just learned of Eleanor s passing. Eleanor was a beloved supervisor of mine at Andover schools. I remember her dearly as she was kind to me during a loss I suffered. I am lucky enough to have a few of her paintings which I have in my office. I think of her every day when I look at them. You all were lucky to share your life with her.

To Eleanor's children and grand-children I offer my condolences. We were once friends while members of the South Church Youth Fellowship in New Britain. She was a special young lady, and I'm sure her specialness remained basic to her nature. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

mes condoleances a la famille

Dear Family, I just learned about your loss last evening and I am so sorry. Eleanor had been over the years such a caring friend to me. We shared each of our birthdays each year at the hotel in Bedford. I shall continue to think of her birthday in May and mine in January and miss our breakfast together.
My first and only patchwork quilt experiences (2)were so carefully guided by Eleanor. I could not have done it without her.
Such a special person and friend. Anyone who knew her could not help but miss her.
