Obituary Condolences

MAIOLI, Elizabeth "Tina" 90, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at The Adams House Home For The Aged, Fall River. Born and raised in Medford, MA, Tina was the daughter of the late Domenic and Rose Maioli. Since 2013 she had been a resident at Bay View Assisted Living, Fall River, with her sister, Mary Maioli. Tina was a graduate of Medford High School and Fisher Business School. She loved ballroom dancing, and in her younger years, was a dance instructor at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Boston. Tina was a highly valued employee of Price Waterhouse in Boston and in retirement, she was an avid reader and was very interested in politics and current events. Survivors include sisters Mary E. Maioli and Olga Scanlon of Fall River and godson John Scanlon of Tacoma, WA, in addition to extended family and friends in Medford, Fall River, on the West Coast and in Italy. Tina was predeceased by her sister Jeanette (Maioli) Sharpsteen. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for family and friends on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at The Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover Street, Fall River, MA. There will be no calling hours and interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Adams House, 1186 Highland Avenue, Fall River, MA 02720, Beacon Hospice, 182 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720, or to a . The Maioli and Scanlon Families wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Adams House and the Freeman Borden TCU and Beacon Hospice for their compassion, professionalism, and kindness to Tina and her family. We would also like to thank the staff and residents of Bay View Assisted Living for the care and friendship Tina enjoyed so thoroughly during her brief time there.
