CORDEIRO, Eva A. (Borsari) Aged 99, of Middleboro and Readville, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Cordeiro, who predeceased her on February 17, 2000. She was born in Plymouth; daughter of the late Gaetano and Laura (Preti) Borsari. She worked at Cordage Park as a seamstress. Eva was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. Survivors include the Golden Girls: Susan Robbins, Marilyn Levesque, and Ruth Whitman, all of Middleboro; several nieces and nephews, including Laura Maffeo of Abington, Margaret Mulhern, of Westwood, David Cordeiro, of Lakeville, Allen Cordeiro, of Middleboro, grand-nieces, Lisa Quinn, of Canton, Jill Mackenzie, of Stoughton, Melanie Sprague, of Mansfield; late siblings, Adelcisa Ghidoni, Victor Borsari, James Borsari, Amedio Borsari, Evo Borsari, Flavio Borsari, Mario Borsari, Leah Gordon, and Ada McDonald; late nieces, Carol Barbieri, and Patricia Gordon. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 16th from 4-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, September 17th at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth.
