FRANCIS A. MONTECALVO Obituary
MONTECALVO, Francis A. Of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Middleton, MA, June 15, 2016, Francis A, age 78. He was the cherished husband of 53 years to Marion (Reardon) Montecalvo, and devoted father and father-in-law of Paul and Donna Montecalvo of North Andover, MA, Deborah and John Edmands of Amesbury, MA. He was a guardian to Joseph Burns of Newburyport and Richard Burns of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Amanda and Julia Montecalvo, Nicole and Brian Edmands and Kelsi Burns. Frank's large family included his brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Gloria Montecalvo of Malden, Dorothy and her husband Don Gagnon of Boynton Beach, Fl and his late brothers Angelo, Joseph and Anthony Montecalvo and his late sisters Rose Marie Bowman and Margaret Raymon; cherished grandfather of Amanda and Julia Montecalvo, Nicole and Brian Edmands and Kelsi Burns, also survived by many nieces, nephews. A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, 140 Lynn St., So. Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Liver Foundation NE, 188 Needham St., Suite 240, Newton MA 02464 in his memory. Pressman for over 50 years with Boston Globe, the Boston Herald and the Salem Evening News, Member of Boston Newspapers Pressman Union # 3. He was an avid Golfer playing 4 times a week and organizing many groups at the Villages and recently shot his age. He also belonged to the Men's league and Gannon Gold Club in Lynn, MA.
