WALKER, Fred 72, of Cotuit, on July 29th 2016 at home. Born in Natick, a graduate of Natick High School, served with the Massachusetts National Guard's Transportation Unit in Framingham. For over twenty years he was a bartender at the former Captain's Chair restaurant in Hyannis and ran the restaurant at Cummaquid Country Club for twelve years. Survived by his companion Prudence Nann-Holmes of Cotuit, children, Christopher C. Walker and spouse Kim of Westbrook CT, Gregg N. Walker and spouse Michele of Bellingham MA, and Karyn C. Walsh and husband Patrick of Colchester CT, brother Richard Walker of Natick, seven grandchildren, Taylor, Jonathan, and Gabrielle Walker, Zoe and Abbey Walker, and P.J. and Delaney Walsh, and many beloved nephews and nieces. Visitation on Tuesday August 2, 2016 from 4-8 PM in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd. Route 28, MARSTONS MILLS Mills, MA. Funeral Mass at The Parish of Christ the King, 5 Jobs Fishing Road in Mashpee, MA on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10AM. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Freddy "Boom Boom" Walker to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
