1936 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
CONSTANTIN, Frederick T. 77, of Temple St, Spencer, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Meadows of Leicester with his wife Claire by his side. He leaves his wife and soul-mate of 18 years, Claire (Gaboury) Constantin; a son, Jason Provost of Spencer; a daughter, Melinda Harris and her husband Keith of Granby; a brother, Richard Constantin and his wife Shirley of Arlington; a sister, Cynthia Edwards and her husband Charles of Wellesley; a sister-in-law, Rose Marie Constantin of Stoughton; a brother-in-law, Paul Gaboury and his wife JoAnn of Paxton; many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A brother, Peter Constantin predeceased him. He was born in Boston, son of Thomas and Olga (Nagi) Constantin. Frederick graduated in 1953 from the Horace Mann School for the Deaf in Boston. He was a typesetter for the Boston Globe for 29 years. He was a member of the Worcester Deaf Club, the Central Mass Deaf Senior Center and several other organizations. He always loved animals, especially his cats. A special Thank You to the Meadows of Leicester staff and the Oncology doctors at UMass Lake Ave for their care. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 695 Southbridge St, Worcester, followed by light refreshments. Burial will be private. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, WORCESTER is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Mass Deaf Senior Center, 695 Southbridge St, Worcester, MA 01610.
