Gene Wisherd Obituary

WISHERD, Gene Of West Newton, March 25, 2010. Loving husband of 40 years of Sandra (Ripley) Wisherd. Devoted father of Amy Lagodimos and her husband Frank of Framingham, and Lori Melchionno and her husband Michael of West Newton, son of Dorothy Wisherd of Montana and the late Wendell Wisherd, brother of Penny Barnard and her husband Walt of Washington, Connie Trott of Montana, Kenneth Wisherd and his wife Cindy of Montana, and Martin Wisherd and his wife Terry of Montana, cherished grandfather of James, Sara, Mark, Grace, and Harry. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Merline O'Connor and sister-in-law Linda Ripley of West Newton, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment Newton Cemetery. Parking attendants on duty. Although when young I only knew Gene through my parents I later got to know him through darts playing his team many times. Gene was one of the nicest people you could be lucky enough to know. God Bless!
