Obituary Condolences

ROMANO, George 91, of Peabody, and formerly of Everett, devoted and loving husband of Angelina (D'Ambrosio) Romano. Born in Everett, he was the son of the late Luigi and Olimpia Romano. George is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, George and Linda Romano of Peabody, his daughter, Maryann Nickerson and her friend Dave Lockard of Clackamas, OR, his sister-in-law, Edith Romano of Revere, his three grandchildren, Joseph Romano, Kelly and Richard Nickerson, his 5 great grandchildren, Jai Romano, Sloan, Trey, and Connor Nickerson, and Angelina Chiapuzio. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, Arthur Romano and Donna LeBlanc, both of Revere. He was predeceased by his brothers, Arthur and Joseph Romano, and his two grandchildren, Michael Romano and Tommy Nickerson. He was a veteran of WWII who served in the United States Army. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Friday at 11:00 AM at St. John's Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the Mass from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St, DOWNTOWN PEABODY. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody. Expressions of sympathy can be made in his name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place west, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
