SEWARD, Harold H. Of Arlington, June 19, 2012 at age 81. Husband of Janet (Williams) Seward. Father of David H. Seward and his wife Susan of Winchester, William H. Seward and his wife Terri of Willinston, VT, James H. Seward of Medford, George H. Seward and his wife Wendy M. Woods of Boston and the late Carolyn M. Seward. Brother of Sally Weitzel of Arizona. Grandfather of Christopher H. Seward, Michael H. Seward and Benjamin W. Seward. Also survived by extended family member Kathleen A. Silva of Arlington.Funeralfromthe Hutchins and Rogers Funeral Home, 292 Mass. Ave. ARLINGTON at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Mary, 58 Washington St., Winchester at 10 o'clock. Visiting hours Friday 7-9pm. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Graduate of Norwich University BS 1952 and MIT MS 1954. Inventor of counting sort for radix computer sorting algorithm. Employee of MIT Instrumentation Lab. Inventor of Optisyn. Founder of HH Controls, Inventor of Optach. In lieu of flowers donations in Harold's memory may be made to the Mass. General Hospital, Alzheimer's Research, MGH Development Office, 165 Cambridge St. Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114
