HELEN M. (WHITE) CANTARA Obituary
CANTARA, Helen M. (White) 84, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 18, 2016 in Andover. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Cantara.Born in Stoneham on January 29, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Ella (Burke) White. Helen was educated in Stoneham, graduating Stoneham High School in 1951. She was employed as a clerk by the Chelmsford Housing Authority for many years. Helen is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Michele Cantara and her husband, Thomas M. Perry of Chelmsford. She was the beloved "Grammynator" to her grandson Joseph Perry and his friends. She leaves her in-laws, Jacquelyn and Norman Cantara of Homosassa, FL; many dear friends, including, Bobbie (Callahan) Guizzetti of Carrboro, NC and Kevin and Susan Dooley of Chelmsford.Relatives and friends may call at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, and CHELMSFORD on Monday from 5 until 8 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 11AM. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
