ABBER, Herman Of Hyannis, formerly of Brockton. Entered into rest November 29, 2009 at the age of 81. Loving husband for 55 years to Charlotte (Baskin) Abber. Beloved father of Carol & Jonathan Braverman, Russell & Leslie Abber, Jeffrey & Maureen Abber and Scott & Deborah Abber. The best Papa to Allison and Jared Braverman, Anne, Zachary, Caitlin, Brittany, Benjamin and Sophie Abber. Brother of the late Louis & Christine Abber, Barney Aberblatt, Sally Lourie and Lillian & Fred Miller. Brother in law of David & Evelyn Baskin and the late Ruth & Leo Launer. Loving uncle of many nieces & nephews. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., CANTON, Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Interment Zviller Cemetery, West Roxbury. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Carol & Jonathan on Tuesday following the interment until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM and at his late residence on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday from 7:00-9:00 PM only. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Cape Cod Synagogue, 145 Winter St, Hyannis, MA 02601 or to the VNA of Cape Cod Hospice, 434 Rt. 134, Suite D3, South Dennis, MA 02660.
