What can I say about my uncle Summy that hasn't been already said. He was the kindest, sweetest, nicest man I have ever known. I don't think I ever heard him yell or seen him be mad at anyone. He always had a smile on his face (at least whenever I saw him) and stories or jokes to tell.
My favorite animal is the gorilla and they are called "Gentle Giants". That is what my uncle was to me and how I will always remember him, as a "Gentle Giant".
Love to Auntie Ettie, Helene, Robin, Alan and the rest of the family

Words cannot express the heartache over the loss of my "buddy" Sumner. You were a true gentleman and I shall certaintly miss your jabs, jokes and pokes. That is what I LOVED the most about you. I could never live up to the caring and love you gave to Ethel, and I would never try. But do not worry my friend, I promise to take great care of her. Rest in peace my friend.

To Ethel and the Family,
My thoughts and prayers to you all.

We loved and shall cherish all our times with "Sumner" - great thanksgiving desserts -the family get togethers to celebrate happy family occasions... traveling to Atlanta for Todd's wedding to Vermont. Those thoughts will always bring happiness and laughter to me and my family who loved him very much...we were blessed to have him for the time he traveled in our lives...
