HARRINGTON, Rev. James J. Of Manchester by the Sea, entered into eternal life on September 16, 2016, age 88, formerly of Arlington. Ret. Senior Priest at Sacred Heart Church in Manchester by the Sea, MA. Son of the late Michael J. and Catherine E. Harrington. He was survived by three sisters, Catherine Hallinan of Arlington, Helen Nugent of Lynnfield, and Ann Kelley of Tewksbury, his longtime dear friend, Supat of Manchester by the Sea. He was the uncle of Catherine Stewart, William Rudder, John Rudder, Laurie Keating, Katherine Harrington, Jacqueline O'Sullivan, Linda Chadwick, Michael Hallinan, Katherine Yow, Mary Fairbairn, Ann Donahue, James Nugent, Patricia Hulse, Thomas Nugent M.D, Lianne Higgins, Kathleen Kelley-Barer, Daniel Kelley, Nancy Moulton, Kevin Kelley, Christine Harte and Sheila Kelley, several grand-nieces and grand-nephews and his devoted dog, Molly. He was also the brother of the late Mary Rudder and John Harrington and uncle of the late Eileen Kelley and James Kelley. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 62 School St., Manchester by the Sea, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. He will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Private burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Fr.
