JAMES J. "JIM" MEDEIROS Jr. Obituary
MEDEIROS, James J., Jr. "Jim" 69, of Nashua, NH, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. Jim was the beloved and devoted husband of the late Ellen (Mearls) Medeiros, who passed away on August 23, 2011. Jim was born in Cambridge on December 18, 1946, a son of the late James J. Medeiros, Sr. and Marion (Hackworth) Medeiros. He served his country honorably in the US Army. Following his discharge in 1971, Jim went to work at his family business, Peabody Chrysler Jeep. He retired as General Manager in 2010. Jim was an avid fisherman, spending many father's day weekends with his sons fishing in Maine. He was also a gun enthusiast, and proud member of the NRA. Jim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons: Jim Medeiros, III and his wife Katherine of Nashua, NH and Matthew Medeiros and his wife Laurie of Hudson, NH, 5 grandchildren; Matthew, Michael, Madison, Riley and Rachael Medeiros, his siblings; Stephen Medeiros and his wife Danielle, Margaret Medeiros-Knikker and her husband Michael and Rhonda Giarratana, all of the North Shore, as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael Medeiros. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, 4-8 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A graveside service, with military honors, will take place on Wednesday at 10 o'clock at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford. Funeral Director Paul A.
