MULROY, James W. Of Dedham, March 19, 2013. Loving and beloved husband of the late Ruth M. (Jenkins). Father of Marie B. Howsen and her husband Albert L. Jr. of Stoughton, James M. Mulroy and his wife Janet E. of Dedham and Karen N. Johnson of Wilmette, IL. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Brother of Mary E. Haley of NJ, and the late John J. and Rita A. Hohmann. Brother in law of Sr. Barbara Jenkins of the Sister's of Charity of St. Elizabeth, NJ. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY on Friday, March 22nd at 8am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Dedham at 9 o'clock. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Brookdale Cemetery. Jim was born in Jamaica Plain and resided in West Roxbury and Dedham. WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Graduate of St. Bonaventure University. Retired Educator and Principal of Boston Public Schools. Past Commander & District Commander Post 722 out of Jamaica Plain. Eucharistic Minister for St. Theresa Parish, West Roxbury and St. Mary's Parish, Dedham.
