JOHN A. CELATA Obituary
CELATA, John A. Of Naples, FL and Gilford, NH, passed away suddenly on April 2, 2016. He was the beloved partner and best friend of Candace Rogers; a brother to Elizabeth (Richard) Jeglinski; grandfather to John and Salvatore Celata; uncle to Lisa (Enzo) Tamburello and Richard Jeglinski; nephew to Stella (Albert) Divenuti; and a cousin and friend to many. He is also survived by his devoted Golden Retrievers Dollie and Tootsie. John was preceded by his parents Amo and Carmella Celata. John was the owner of Celata Dental Laboratory in Burlington, MA for 40 years. After retirement, John was able to dedicate more time to his various hobbies and interests. He enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH, motorcycling and gold-smithing. But, he was not able to sit idle in retirement. He started offering his handyman services to his neighbors in Naples. He was known for his quality work and creativity in solving home repair issues. Generally, every client then became John's friend. There are many qualities which can be associated with John. He was a perfectionist at whatever he did. He enjoyed life and easily made friends. He treasured and cherished those friendships. He would be the first to offer help or assistance. He had a fabulous sense of humor and a great laugh. And above all, he loved his three girls very much. Visiting hours will be at St. Leo Catholic Church, 28290 Beaumont Rd Bonita Springs, FL 34134, from 1pm - 2pm, Friday, April 8, 2016. Mass will begin in celebration of John's life at 2pm. A memorial service will be held in the Boston area at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in John's memory to the Parkinson Association of SW Florida, Inc. 1048 Goodlette Rd N Suite 201, Naples, FL 34102 or to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc., P.O.
