DOW, Joseph Sheffield, Esq. Of Brookline, March 5, age 84. Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise (Field). Cherished son of the late John and Yamna Dow. Devoted father of Sarah Yameen Dow and her companion John McEliece of Brighton and Rachel Gaffey and her husband Rick of CA. Cherished brother of the late Matilda Swide, Emily Merageas, Jeremiah Dow and Emil Dow. Loving brother-in-law of Rose Dow of West Roxbury. Loving "Jidou" of Rhiannon and Raia. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private at the family's request. Late WW II and Korean Army Veteran. Member of the St. Maron Society, Nicholas G. Beram Veterans Association, Bates College and Harvard Law graduate. Please, in lieu of flowers, all donations in Joe's memory can be made to Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood St., Jamaica Plain 02130.
