Obituary Condolences

ALPERT, Katherine (Moore) Of Eastham and Newton, died June 10, 2016. "Kate", born Katherine Moore, was raised in Eastham, later living in the Boston area known as Kate Lapidus and later Alpert. Kate worked at Harvard University Dept. of Psychology and as a community economic developer. In retirement, Kate moved back to her beloved Eastham where she served as President of the Eastham Historical Society for 8 years and as a member of the Eastham Historical Commission. Kate was an avid antique collector, loved good food, socializing, opera, and politics. Kate is survived by her daughter Ronnie Lapidus (Bragen), her son Gary Lapidus and wife Clare, and grandchildren David and Jane Bragen. Services will be private.
