Obituary Condolences

BARBATI, Kathleen B. (Connolly) Of Braintree, formerly of Randolph, passed away on October 19, 2012, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 73. Born in Portland, ME, Kathleen was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Dorchester. She worked as a Real Estate Agent on Cape Cod for many years. Kathleen had many passions; including golfing, reading, knitting and for many years she was an active member of the Randolph ELKS Bowling League. However, spending time with her family is what brought her the most joy. Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband Victor J. Barbati. Loving mother of Joseph Barbati of Duxbury, James Barbati and his wife Kristine of Bridgewater, Mary Teresa Slavinsky and her husband Stephen of Randolph, Victor R. Barbati and his wife Lorianne of Norwell, Peter Barbati of Braintree and John Barbati of Quincy. Devoted sister of Mary Goulding of Portland, ME, Sally Candelieri of Merrimac, NH, Rev. John Connolly of Harwich, Peter Connolly of Billerica, Francis Connolly of Reading and the late Martin Connolly and Anne Cooper. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) RANDOLPH, until 9:30 AM on Wednesday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the , 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472. Kathleen will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.
