SURABIAN, Kay "Knarig"

(Encababian) Of Stoneham passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her three loving daughters on April 12, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Surabian. Devoted mother of Deborah M. Surabian of Wakefield, Janette Nason and her husband Robert of Reading and Valerie Tersakian of Stoneham. Loving grandmother of Michael Robert Tersakian, Trevor Robert Nason and Alexander Piper Nason. Dear sister of Claire Piankian of NY and the late Dikran Encababian and Astgig Bajakian. Sister-in-law of Charles Surabian and his wife Dorothy of Medford and the late Alice Kevorkian. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Kay was immensely proud of her Armenian heritage and instilled that pride in her daughters and grandchildren. Services at St. James Armenian Church, 465 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, on Monday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Giragosian Funeral Home, 576 Mt. Auburn St., (Rt. 16), WATERTOWN, on Sunday 3-6 p.m. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
