1924 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
CORVINI, Laura R. (Benea) Age 94, died peacefully on July 12, 2018, at the Beth Israel Deaconess-Hospital Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of the late William Corvini. Born in Kingston, MA on January 17, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Nemis and Mary (Balboni) Benea. She was educated in Kingston and was a graduate of Kingston High School Class of 1941. She moved from Kingston to Plymouth in 1949, where Laura once again lived next door to Callie (Tarantino) Bongiovanni, her childhood friend, as she had growing up in Kingston. For many years Laura worked as a legal secretary for Atty. William DiMarzio Law firm.

Laura was a talented artist and did extensive painting, stenciling, Early American toll tin painting, oil painting and rose marling. She was a world traveler visiting Europe, Japan, India, Australia, Russia, China and the Middle East. She loved traveling with her dear friends, Inez White and Dina Danforth.

Laura was the devoted and loving mother of Stephen Corvini and his wife Deborah of Plymouth. She was the cherished grandmother of Alycia Corvini and was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Benea.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Cartmell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth.
