1954 - 2016 Obituary Condolences
HURLEY, Lloyd Robert Of Walpole passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 26, 2016 at home. He was born January 12, 1954 in Boston, the son of Edna Jean (Crittenden) Hurley and the late John W. Hurley. He lived in Needham until he was married in 1989. Lloyd attended Needham High School and graduated for the Professional School of Wallpapering in Rutland, VT in 1973. Both he and his wife Christine Elizabeth (Quartarone) Hurley were married on April 2, 1989 at St. Mary's Church in Foxborough. Lloyd was self-employed as a wallpaper hanger and painter for over 42 years. He loved the Beatles, watching MASH, playing chess, going out to dinner, working in his garden, growing his basil and especially just being with his family. He was a true family man. Lloyd is survived by his wife Christine of twenty seven years and his daughter Angela Rose Hurley. He is also survived by his mother Edna Jean Hurley of Needham, two sisters, Barbara Murray and her husband Jack of Scottsdale, AZ and Kyle Ricciardelli and her husband Keith of Walpole as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., FOXBOROUGH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday the 2nd at 12 PM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond St., Walpole. Interment to follow at St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole.
