MARION (CRONIN) BROWN Obituary
BROWN, Marion (Cronin) 91, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2013 in the Knollwood Military Retirement Community in Washington DC. She was the wife of the late Earl V. Brown a West Point graduate. She taught high school history in Andover while obtaining her Master's Degree from Boston College. She and her husband were active in the community and political life of the North Shore for many years. Marion is survived by her children, Earl V. Brown, Jr., Charlotte Randall, William Cronin and Ellen W. "Heidi" Hughes; three grandchildren, Katherine King, Tristan Hughes and Mallory Brown; two great-grandchildren, Journeyann and Waylon King; and her devoted brother, J. Leo Cronin, Jr. A funeral service for Marion will be held on Monday, May 20th in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., HAVERHILL, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10-10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Marion's name to the J. Leo Cronin & Charlotte R. Cronin Friends of Merrimack Scholarship, c/o Merrimack College-O1, 315 Turnpike Street, North Andover, MA 01845.
