RAGUCCI, Mary Christine

(Cullinane) Of Medford, beloved wife of Albert Ragucci of Medford, passed away unexpectedly at Tufts Medical Center on October 14. By her side was her husband of 52 years and numerous family members. The sister of Eileen Woods of Medford, John Cullinane of Needham, Thomas Cullinane of Sudbury and the late Elizabeth Fitzmaurice of Sandwich, Mrs. Ragucci was a graduate of Somerville High School and a former parishioner of St. James Church in Medford. Mrs. Ragucci and her husband devoted more than 25 years as volunteers at Camp Sunshine of Casco, Maine, an organization which provides a camp experience to children with life threatening illnesses, and their families. Although the Raguccis had no children of their own, they enjoyed loving relationships with their 15 nieces and nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews, and earned the affection of hundreds of children through their work with Camp Sunshine. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT28), STONEHAM, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 from 3-7pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
