SISTER MARY WILLIAM JARVIS, CSJ In her 68th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Monday, September 19, 2016. Devoted daughter of the late William and Margaret T. (Bullock) Jarvis and loving sister of the late William H. Jarvis, Margaret Wilber, Marian Duquette, Mary Sherwood, Louise Davis, Helen Spillane, Hazel Doane, Ruth Allen, Dorothy Walsh, John, James, and Peter Jarvis. Sister Mary William is survived by her cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, along with her Sisters in the Congregation. Formerly missioned in the following convents: Immaculate Conception, Everett; St. Catherine, Charlestown; Bethany Convent, Framingham, St. Agnes, Arlington; Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, Brighton; St. Thomas, Jamaica Plain; and Sacred Heart, North Quincy in charge of food service. Sister also ministered as a nurses' assistant at Fontbonne Hall and St. Joseph Hall in Framingham.Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Friday, September 23, 2016, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at Bethany at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham, MA. Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, Framingham.
