Obituary Condolences

RELLO, Matteo "Mattie" Of North Weymouth, died March 28, 2016 after courageously battling a long illness. Matteo proudly served in the U.S. Air Force at the young age of 17. After completing his tour in the Korean War, he moved from Hyde Park to Weymouth in 1962 and started a family. Mattie had a long and successful career in the heating industry as a dedicated heating service technician, bringing warmth and comfort to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He also served in the Coast Guard Auxillary for the Mass Bay area and was a member of the Town River Yacht Club. Matteo was devoted to his family and friends and will be dearly missed by them. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann (Anderson) Rello. Devoted father of Nancy Buchanon of Pembroke, Diane Rello of Weymouth, Roberta Rello and her husband Al Casey of Weymouth and the late Nicholas Rello. Loving twin brother of Antoinette Waniak of ME and predeceased by additional sisters, brother and his parents. Cherished Papa of Rachel, Aaron, Melissa, Daniel, James David, Nobert, Jason, Matteo, Brittany, Eric, Cole and the late Jenna. Papapa to 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square).
