MAUREEN K. BARACCHINI (DOHERTY) ADAMS Obituary
ADAMS, Maureen K. (Doherty) Baracchini Of Osterville, was surrounded by her family when she passed February 4, 2013. Maureen was formerly a resident of South Weymouth for more than 50 years. She devoted her life to being a wife and mother to her family. Maureen worked at South Weymouth Savings Bank for 15 years before she retired. Maureen enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family and golfing with her "club ladies". Maureen was a devoted wife to Richard J. Adams and the late Ernest J. Baracchini, Jr. Loving mother to Ernest Baracchini, III of Halifax and Elise Baracchini of Pembroke, Philip Baracchini and his wife Holly of Parrish, FL, Denise Adams and her husband Richard of Sandwich, John Baracchini and his wife Sylvana of Avon, Kenneth Baracchini and his wife Susan of Pocasset, Deborah Smith and her husband Richard of Sandwich and Andrea Boucher and her husband Philip of Newton. Precious Grandmother to 16 grandchildren and cherished Great-Grandmother to 6 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Philip and Grace Doherty. She is also survived by a large extended family and many precious friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, Feb. 6th, 3-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice, c/o McCarthy Care Center, 73 Service Road, East Sandwich or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
