MICHAEL F. KEEGAN Obituary
KEEGAN, Michael F. Of Hudson, NH, husband of Donna (Van Buskirk) Keegan died unexpectedly at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA on May 18, 2016 with his wife and devoted family at his side. Michael was born on June 17, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of Barbara (Booth) Keegan and the late Francis Keegan. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute. Michael was a licensed professional engineer and worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers for his entire thirty eight year career. He was Chief, Civil Works and Interagency/International Project Management Branch Corps of Engineers, New England Branch. He was the recipient of many awards for his meritorious service, including the Commander's Award for Civilian Service. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers as well as the Society of American Military Engineers. He was also very involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He is remembered as a loving and devoted son, husband, brother, father and grandfather. Michael loved to play golf and was an avid New England sports fan. Besides his mother and beloved wife, he is survived by his son, Christopher Keegan and his daughter, Briana Keegan, his grandson, Dylan Zelonis; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacqueline and James McColgan, Kathleen and David Goodrich and Barbara and Brian Graham; his mother-in-law, Edna Van Buskirk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services: Visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua on Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint John XXIII Parish in St. John the Evangelist, 25 Library St., Hudson, NH on Monday morning, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson, NH.
