Obituary Condolences

LARKIN, Michelle Marie "Mimi" 38, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, following a brief illness. Michelle was the cherished and loving daughter of Michael and Ann Marie Larkin, of Reading. Beloved sister to Susan M. Larkin of Stoneham and goddaughter of Tom and June Martin of Canton. She leaves behind a large group of loving family and friends, who are grieving the loss of her beautiful smile far too soon. Michelle was born on Dec. 27, 1974 in Cambridge and grew up in Reading. She graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 1992, where she forged strong and loyal friendships that endure today. Friends remember Michelle as fun, vivacious, always with a twinkle in her eye and a witty remark. After high school, Michelle earned her Cosmetologist's license and while it would not become her ultimate career path, she formed some of her closest friendships while at school. The experience also allowed Michelle to express her innate sense of style and daring-usually seen sporting the latest hairstyle or color trend and never with a chip in her manicure. Michelle worked for many years as a legal researcher at CT Corporation in Boston. As everywhere she went, her co-workers became some of her dearest friends. Michelle was the light of her parent's and sister's lives and her loss will be felt immeasurably. As a beloved part of a large extended family, she leaves behind two goddaughters, numerous cousins, second cousins, uncles and aunts. Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St.,(corner of Park St. and Rte.28), NORTH READING, at Reading line, on Monday, March 11 at 9:30am.
