Nancy and I taught together at Massasoit for a number of years and shared many wonderful times including the wait for my son's arrival when I would return week after week still not having delivered, the "year of Nancy" "Year of Geraldine" and "Year of David" as each of you left high school and went your own ways. She was the person who convinced me that a person can do anything if a person so decided and she was proof of that. I still hear that infectious laugh...my heartful sympathy at your loss. May you be comforted in knowing that she touched more lives than one can count. She truly was "A Life Worth Living"

Dear Dowling children,
I worked in the Traffic Dept. for your dad, (with Danny, Mary Harkins, Susan and Barbara), for the few years before that office closed. I also bartended at their 25th with Frodo. Your parents would host gatherings at your home for the department. They were amazing people. We all loved your dad, and your mom truly was larger than life.
I'm very sorry for your loss of your mother. I am sure that Gerry, and all of Heaven, must be sitting up, with heads turned, and all eyes on the beauty who just walked in the room.

Nancy, Geraldine and David,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I was a neighbor when you lived in Merrymount and I so enjoyed your mom. I loved coming to your house, we all thought your mom was so glamorous. So Sorry. Christine Barry LaPlume

Nancy, Gerry, David & Moon,
Debbie & I are so sorry for your loss. I'm going to miss picking Aunt Nancy up at the airport. It was always an exciting time, when she was in town. The heavens are brighter now though, because we all know your mother could light-up a room.

When I think of Aunt Nancy, I smile. Nancy had so many gifts but the one she shared with us so freely was her sense of humor. I cherish the times we spent enjoying her eccentric personality and thank the Lord for bringing her into our family. Thank you, Aunt Nancy. I love you!

Gerry, Nancy, Dave and all Nannie's Grandchildren. I just want to let you all know how sorry we are. Mrs. D. was quite a woman who will never be forgotten. She was a great Mother and Grandmother as well as a great Mother in law. I will never forget our vacations on Cape Cod. I am also so sorry that I will be away but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. Nicole was right, I hope there is a Lord and Taylor in heaven because they just received their number one shopper.
