REDDEN, Oliver B., MD 97, of North Hill Needham, June 10, 2016. Beloved husband of Carol I. Redden and the late Lois Small Redden. Devoted father of Kenneth O. Redden and his wife Wanda of Grafton, Alan G. Redden of Natick, Linda A. Davis of Basalt, CO, Kathryn D. Cadigan and her husband Timothy of Barrington, RI, and Charles F. Davis, Jr. and his wife Beth of Deerfield. Also survived by five grandsons, Benjamin Redden, Kevin Cadigan, and Bradley, Brian, and Zachary Davis. He is also survived by a nephew, Douglas Roberts and his wife Elise of Boothbay Harbor, ME. and their two sons. Memorial service at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St, Wellesley Hills on Friday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home,1351 Highland Ave, NEEDHAM from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16th. Interment is Private. Memorial gifts in Oliver's memory may be made to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital—Needham, Office of Development, 148 Chestnut St, Needham, MA 02492, or to Shriners' Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114. Longtime Family Practice medicine specialist in Needham. Former President of the Glover Memorial Hospital Medical Staff (now Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham). He will be remembered for being always a gentleman, a caring physician, his ability to make one laugh, and his never-failing good-natured personality.
