MATOLA, Paul C. Age 70, of Wrentham, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 surrounded by the comfort of his loving family at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the son of the late Elmer E. and Catherine M. (Caputo) Matola. Paul was born on February 16, 1946 in Norwood. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and was employed for many years as a mechanical engineer for the former Foxboro Company. He married his wife Ursula A. on September 20, 1969 at St. Matthew's Church in Dorchester. Paul was an avid golfer and New England sports fan. He most enjoyed time spent with his family. Beloved husband of Ursula A. (Duff) Matola. Loving father of Amy M. Zarrella and her husband Marc of Franklin, Julie A. Lashley and her husband Mark of Scottsdale, AZ and Elaine E. Houchens and her husband Chris of Norton. Grandfather of Bryan, Emma, Jack, Ava, Claire, Alex, Landon, Luke and Kendall. Devoted brother of Edward E. Matola and his wife Helen "Laurie" of Coventry, RI. Brother-in-law of Patricia N. Sherman and her husband John of Pembroke. Also survived by two nephews, one grand niece and four grand nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, July 28 at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, FOXBOROUGH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at St. Mary's. Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham. Interment to follow at Center Cemetery, Wrentham.
