Obituary Condolences

CIAMPA, Paul Passed away peacefully on May 14, 2016 after a brave struggle with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). Beloved husband of Carol Ciampa, who celebrated 42 years of marriage and took care of him to the end. Loving father of Jonathon of Tempe, AZ and Joshua and Maria of New York, NY who will cherish their loving memories always. Brother of David and Angela of Naples, FL, Vincent and Thelma of Somerville, MA, Gregory and Pamela of Seabrook, NH, and Richard and Leslie of Long Beach, CA. Brother in law of Phillip and Nada Brillante of Alexandria, VA, Raymond and Nanette Paddock of Louisville, CO, and Louis Brillante of Waltham, MA. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was a skilled fine artist and illustrator who studied at Mass College of Art, The Art Institute of Boston, and the Society of Illustrators. Paul balanced his artistic career and supporting his family by spending over 30 years as a graphic designer at Wang Labs and Millipore Corporation for which he received many distinguished performance awards during his career. Paul touched our hearts in many ways whether it was as a church volunteer, soccer coach, baseball coach, high school band volunteer, great neighbor, mentor, and dad. In his free time you could find him painting, drawing, cycling, singing, riding his Harley Davidson, photographing, creating giclee prints, spending time with his family, playing with Mason and Butch, and most recently walking outdoors, and listening to Toby Keith. The Ciampa Family would like to recognize the tireless support of Paul's caregivers including Darlene, Maria, Gus, and Richard. Special thanks to Pam Ciampa for her love and support. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt. 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church), Arlington, MA. Tuesday (today) May 17th from 4-8PM. Funeral mass on Wednesday May 18th at 10AM at St. Agnes Church in Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Paul's memory to: The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), Radnor Station Building 2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Rd, Radnor, PA 19027.
