I regret I am unable to attend Paul's Memorial Service today. My thoughts as I reflect on Paul and his legacy -
Paul Cripps will long be remembered. Such a loss for so many - He was a staunch supporter of the Adams National Historical Park, National Park Service and Quincy and all who invested in Tourism. Paul was a well respected icon in Plymouth who dedicated himself to the "mission " as Plymouth was about to celebrate its "400th." I had a great conversation with Paul at this year's Discover Quincy Annual Meeting - what a privilege - who knew his life would be so short - We talked about getting together later in the season. It wasn't meant to be, making the time we had together so special that evening. Thanks for including Paul and having him as a keynote speaker last year. I have photos of that event - and as we all would have expected, he was inspirational and wonderful!! Paul was energized with Discover Quincy's successes and was an exceptional partner in supporting partnerships for the greater good. He will be missed.

Dear Family and Close friends,
I am deeply saddened to learn the news of Paul's passing.I first met Paul while working at Visitor Services at the Plantation and then later at Destination Plymouth. My late husband Richard Currier worked with him as well and a long time friend. Paul recently, attended Richard's funeral, and I spoke with him over the holiday telling him I would be visiting in July and could we met for coffee. I will miss him imensely and I'm sure if Richard were around he would be beside himself.

Dearest friends and family,
I was truly overcome with saddness when I learned of Paul's passing. I first met Paul when working for the Plantation's Visitor Services but most recently at Destination Plymouth. My late husband Richard Currier and Paul worked together at the Plantation and and continued to be close friends. Infact, Paul, attended Richards funeral in April and I spoke to him over the holiday and told him I would be visiting my family in July and I would stop and visit and that was the last time I spoke with him. I will miss him terribly.

Dearest Josh, our journey in life is never known and when I read the paper and saw your dads obituary my heart dropped because the love for our parents is not replaceable, I pray Josh that somehow time will lessen your pain and I believe your love for my daughter Elyce and your son Marcus and your family will be by your side to help nurture your heart.
My deepest regards,
Carol Peterson

Paul was my first cousin. I have such wonderful memories of the times our families spent together. Even as a child he was gentle and kind. I feel like part of my childhood is gone. Gone but never forgotten. You will be missed Paul. ❤
