R. KEITH ALLISON Obituary
ALLISON, R. Keith Age 53, of Foxboro and Onset, passed away Nov 22, 2016 in Florida following an accident. Beloved husband of Jayne Coburn Allison and adored best friend of Tammy Allison, his Scottish Terrier. Keith was predeceased by his parents Ronald and Gail (Fitzpatrick) Allison and his brother Cameron of Foxboro. He was the son-in-law of Jane Coburn and the late Captain Harold Coburn. Brother in-law to Denise Coburn Hixon and Chuck, Lisa Coburn Van Dusen and Barry, Anne Coburn Haarmann and the late Neil Haarmann, and Caroline Coburn Cooney and Jack, and their families. He is also survived by his relatives in Foxboro – Barbara Fitzpatrick Bethel and her family, Paul Fitzpatrick and his family of California, and his paternal relatives in Aberdeen Scotland, Betty Allison Smith and her family. He was a 1981 graduate of Foxboro High and a 1985 Wentworth Institute of Technology graduate in Mechanical Engineering. Keith worked as a mechanical engineer at Hanson, ATC Engineering, and later was self-employed helping to invent machinery and solve the everyday problems of living. Keith loved Onset, rock concerts, the NE Patriots, fishing, and was an avid boater. Keith spent every summer of his life in Onset before becoming a permanent resident in 2003.Keith will be missed and fondly remembered by his many friends and neighbors in Onset and Foxboro, the Point Independence Yacht Club, Section 316 at the Patriots Stadium and all who encountered him daily. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the visitation at Roberts Funeral Home, 30 South St, FOXBORO, MA on Friday, Dec. 2nd from 4-7PM and services on Saturday, Dec 3rd at 11AM at Roberts. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA In lieu of flowers donations in Keith's memory may be made to the MSPCA Angel Memorial Fund, 350 So. Huntington St. Boston, MA 02130.
