1955 - 2016 Obituary Condolences
CLEMENT, Richard A. 61, of Cotuit MA, died at home on November 10, 2016, after a long illness, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Braintree MA in 1955 and the second child of Richard E. and Edith F. (Picciotto) Clement, he graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1977 and spent 27 years as a sales representative on the Cape and Islands for the Martignetti Companies. An avid sailor and lover of the sea, he enjoyed exploring the bays of Massachusetts and the islands of the Bahamas. He was the proud father of Rachael Clement of Boston, MA, Natalie Clement of Boston, MA, and Richard Clement of Baltimore, MD. He lived for many years in the village of Cotuit with his wife, friend, and confidant Susan (Manning) Clement. His mother, Edith Clement, as well as his sister, Marcia Clement Kelly, both of Hockessin, DE, his brother Ronald Clement of Baltimore, MD, as well as many nieces and nephews, survive him. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd, MARSTONS MILLS, MA. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the Cotuit Federated Church, 40 School St, Cotuit, MA on Tuesday, November 15 at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
