Age 74, of Hollis, NH, former longtime resident of Westford, died January 7, 2005. Retired 30 year manager of Bradlees Department Store. Beloved husband of Anne K. (McGovern) Lenox. Father of Nancy E. Flanagan and her husband Brian of Pepperell, MaryEllen King and her husband Matthew of Groveland, FL, Alice J. Chiavelli and her husband Kevin of Pepperell and Richard P. Lenox and his wife Brenda of Hudson. Brother of Robert Lenox of Chelsea and the late Jean Powers. Brother-in-law of James Powers of Arlington. Grandfather of eight. Visiting hours at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine's Church, Westford. Burial Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Missionaries of Africa, Treasurer's Office, P.O. Mrs. Lenox:



I worked for Mr. Lenox for several years at Bradlees in Somerville, Ma. and I have fond memories of your husband during that time. He had a great sense of humor and his friends who worked for him would do anything for him. I call him "Mr" Lenox because that's how I addressed him then. May he Rest in Peace and God bless you and your family.

Anne...I just received word from Lee about Dick's passing..I am sorry we cannot be with you tonight or tomorrow, but please know that we will be thinking of you and your children in this time of great sorrow for you all. I will always remember Dick as a true gentleman whenever I had the occasion to be in his company. May God bless you.
