RITA A. (SEXTON) WHITING Obituary
WHITING, Rita A. (Sexton) Age 72, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Michael "Leo" and Elizabeth (Noonan) Sexton. Rita was born on July 29, 1943 in Boston. She married her husband Charles E. Whiting, Jr. in 1965 in Milton and just recently celebrated their golden anniversary. She was employed as an activities director for several local facilities. She enjoyed knitting, making greeting cards and was an avid Boston Bruins fan. She was her grandchildren's head cheerleader. Beloved wife of Charles E. Whiting, Jr. Devoted mother of Thomas and his wife Laura Whiting of Foxborough, Ellen and her husband Tom Clift of FL and Kevin and his wife Jae Whiting of CA. Loving grandmother of Liam and Ryan. Sister of Michael Sexton of NH. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, April 15 from 4 to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, FOXBOROUGH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 AM at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough.
