1935 - 2016 Obituary Condolences
BONO, Ronald M. Age 80, of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at Bay Path in Duxbury. He was the devoted husband of Joan M. (Barilaro) Bono. Loving father of Christina Pratt and her late husband Carl of Plymouth, Mark Bono and his wife Maureen of Plymouth, and Lisa Brangiforte and her husband George, Jr. of Tewksbury. Ronald was the grandfather of Arianna Brangiforte, Connor Pratt, Justin Brangiforte, Kerri Bono, and Marissa Brangiforte. He was the brother of Maria Bono of Medford, and the late Natalie DeLuca. Born in Arlington, MA on September 5, 1935, son of the late Vincent and Gilda (Fiato) Bono. Ronald was a Korean War Veteran, having served in the US Army. He later went on to be the proprietor of the Rondezvous Beauty Salon for 13 years in Marshfield, and the Duca's 5 & 10 in Marshfield, and later worked for the Marshfield Housing Authority prior to his retirement. A visitation will be held at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., PLYMOUTH on Tuesday, August 9th from 4:00 till 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place the following day at St. Peter's Church, Plymouth, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Donations, in Ronald's memory, may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Assoc., (MA Chapter), 77 East Concord St., Boston, MA 02118.
