1922 - 2016 Obituary Condolences
THOMAS, Sally Frances Of Scituate (Humarock) on May 30, 2016 at Southwood at Norwell Nursing Center. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late John E. Thomas (2009) who she loved so dearly. Also predeceased by her adoring granddaughter Amy Beth Lanzikos (1978) - her pride and joy; and her parents Marten J. and Selma F. Meyer. Sally is survived by her son J. Elliott Thomas, Jr. and his wife Victoria of Yarmouth, ME and her daughter Sally F. Lanzikos Pineau and her husband Daniel of Hanover. Loving sister of Jeanne M. Bird of So. Dartmouth. Aunt of Rachel Bird Anderson, Marten F. Bird, Matthew G. Bird and their families, several "Thomas" nieces and nephews and their families. Sally also leaves behind her "grandchildren of the heart" Alana and Justin Kapust. Sally will be greatly missed by her family and by her many living and caring friends, especially Patti and Daniel Gillespie of Chicago, IL, Maureen Holland and her late husband Jimmy of Marshfield and Roger and Judy Kent of Humarock and FL. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE, on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield at 11 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
